Recent Events


Summer Camp - April 4th to June 10th 2011

A fun-filled camp hosted across the centres of Kanchana Paati where professionals trained kids in  dance, music, karate, chess and yoga. Children were also engaged in “Kids Kitchen” and “Library Hour”. The two-month camp ended in a grand finale where every participant was awarded a certificate signed by Sachin Tendulkar.





Annual Day Celebration - March 26th  2011

Every academic year of Kanchana Paati- My First School culminates in a grand extravaganza where each and every child is given the opportunity to exhibit his/her talent. Families came along to share their child's experience and the anticipation of the audience was palpable.  All the children looked adorable in their cute costumes and make-up. The performance was followed by the distribution of certificates to our young Pre School graduates. The event was adorned with the presence of Dr. Kamala Selvaraj, MD, DGO, PhD, Obstetrician and Gynecologist and Maureen Chao, Vice Counsul with the U. S. Consulate General.







Born Free- February 17th 2011

Born Free, the biggest inter-school competition in Chennai city, to create awareness for "Compassion towards Animals” was jointly conducted by Animal Welfare Board of India - Ministry of Environment and Forest - Government of India and Kanchana Paati My Grandma's Place. Animal Welfare Board Chairman, Dr. S Chinny Krishna, Actor Srikanth, Singer Haricharan, Leading Indian Car Racer, Armaan Ebrahim and Manager of Birla Sun life, Mr. Rajesh Singh graced the event with their presence.
